430 West 34th Street
Meet the Board
A Message from the President of the Board
Since moving to 430 West 34th Street four years ago, I have watched both the building and the neighborhood go through many changes.
Our building has had a great influx of new shareholders who have thoughtfully refurbished their personal spaces; making each one a gem in its own right and a place in which they happily live. The building itself has received new elevators, a redecorated lobby, a new mosaic tiled canopy and new front doors which make 430 West 34th Street ever more inviting and welcoming to all its occupants and their guests.
Our neighborhood also continues to go through wonderful transformation. We’ve seen the warding off of the West Side Stadium, the continual renewal of 9th and 10th Avenues, and the always changing skyline in every direction. We await the possible move of Madison Square Garden, the conversion of the James A. Farley Post Office and the expansion of the Jacob Javits Center, which will all hopefully make this neighborhood an even more vibrant and exciting area to live in.
New York is always so full of change, and whether you call our little neighborhood North Chelsea (NoChe’), Hell’s Chelsea (HelSea), South Hell’s Kitchen (SoHell) or whatever else the media comes up with, so is the area that surrounds 430 West 34th Street; a good place to call “home.”
